There are many Beaches in Split. Those around the forest park "Marjan" or along the coastline of the city invite you to take a walk or just "dive in" or to laze around.
On the north side of the sport-crazy city the stadium "Poljud", home of the legendary football club "Hajduk Split". It is located near the coast on the Bay of Kaštela in an impressive setting.
